Philosophy and Cognitive Science of Attention Reading Group

Join us for a reading group led by Professor Alex Djedovic focused broadly on philosophical issues with attention, ranging from high-level theories, to relevant empirical data, to applications of theory. The vision is to focus, as much as possible, on the most general, high-level phenomena—the very metaphysical and empirical frames we use to pose questions about attention.

To begin the discussion, on October 17, the group will read the Introduction and Chapter 1 of Wayne Wu’s “Attention.”

Meetings will take place in person on Fridays from 4-6 PM at UC D301, starting on October 17.
